“Each reader comprehends the Holy Qur’an on a different level of tandem with the depth of his understanding. There are four levels of insight. The first level is the outer meaning, and it is the one that the majority of the people are content with. Next is the Batin — the inner level. Third, there is the innermost of the internal. And the fourth level is so deep it cannot be put into words and is, therefore, bound to remain indescribable.“
I am present here and now. I honor this beautiful moment of life.
Today’s Rule is about respect and acceptance for me. I spent much time trying to educate others about the way to God. Then I realized that there is no need to do that. We all read the Holy Text – whichever we chose – the way we are capable of perceiving it. And there is NOTHING WRONG with that! There is not better or worse way of understanding and experiencing God but our own unique way.
The journey into communion with God is personal. We move from one level to the next when we are ready. I also learnt to respect and accept there are as many ways to God, as many we are.
