Contemplation – Day 36

This World is erected upon the principle of reciprocity. Neither a drop of kindness nor a speck of evil will remain unreciprocated. For not the plots, deceptions, or tricks of other people. If somebody is setting a trap, remember, so is God. He is the biggest plotter. Not even a leaf stirs outside God’s Knowledge. Simply and wholeheartedly believe in that. Whatever God does, He does it beautifully.

I am stress-free in the Silence.

When I was a child, I felt unfairly treated. Now, I understand that God had a plan. I may not ever know exactly why certain things happened in my life as they did but what I know for sure is that I would not be the person I am today if it had not been to those experiences. The more I know myself, the more I see God’s plan. I can only know myself in the silence.

… when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:6

Today, we are releasing Stress and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that releasing stress is possible in the beautiful moment of silence and calm. As we breathe and pray, we reset, recharge and can let go of our worries.

when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:6

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No36 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing stress worked for you today.

And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life? Luke 12:25

Today we affirm: I am stress-free in the Silence.

Contemplation – Day 35

In this World, it is not similarities or regularities that take us a step forward, but blunt opposites. And all the opposites in the universe are present within each and every one of us. Therefore the believer needs to meet the unbeliever residing within. And the nonbeliever should get to know the silent faithful in him. Until the day one reaches the stage of Insane-I Kamil, the perfect human being, faith is a gradual process and one that necessitates its seeming opposite: disbelief.

I live vibrantly from my joyful spirit.

Oh, how true!  I have been searching for my ‘faith’ for decades. At the beginning of my journey I strongly believed that I needed to connect with likeminded people who will love me and embrace me for who I am. But I kept on finding myself with people who looked at me as weirdo. I wondered why God hated me so much to suffer a company that did not understand or appreciated me.

Some time along the dusty road of self-discovery, I met the ‘disbeliever’ inside of me who neither liked me or appreciated me. I realized that I was surrounded with such people because God wanted me to meet the ‘disliker’ within.

We see God and our world through ourselves. We are our own filter in a way. As is outside so is within. It is a work in progress. I can see the light of the ‘believer’ now!

Today, we are releasing Sorrow and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that sorrow is not something to fight but to embrace. It reminds us losses and carries a message from Jesus about solace that resides within us as we connect with the Divine Presence. When we live from our divinity we recognize joy even in the midst of sorrow. As we release sorrow we bask in the glory of living with joy.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No35 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing sorrow worked for you today.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every
matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

Today we affirm: I live vibrantly from my joyful spirit.

Contemplation – Day 34

Submission does not mean being weak or passive. It leads to neither fatalism nor capitulation — just the opposite. Real power resides in submission, a power that comes within. Those who submit to the divine essence of life will live in unperturbed tranquility and peace even the whole full World goes through turbulence after turbulence.

When I trip over my humanity, I discover a higher way of being.

It took me a long time to understand this rule. I still have challenges with divine order that is submission to the Divine Essence of Life or God’s Will – as we often call it. I grew up during a military kind of regime and submission meant giving up on yourself and becoming submissive to the a totalitarian leader.

Giving into Love is finding Peace and Solace within. Until I experienced it, I could not believe it. And I still don’t sometimes. Sitting in the Silence and allowing God to take over, to lift my burdens, the heaviness of living in this crazy world, and my fears give me a sense of peace and tranquility.

Today, we are releasing Shame and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that we all make mistakes or display wrong or foolish behaviour. In shame we keep the pain alive by berating ourselves for not measuring up to a certain standard. In order to move forward we must forgive ourselves  and see the mistakes for what it is: learning. By loving thoughts and behaviour, that stem from my goodness, I support myself to move onto better decisions.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No34 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing shame worked for you today.

Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. John 8:7

Today we affirm: When I trip over my humanity, I discover a higher way of being.

Contemplation – Day 33

While everyone in this World strives to get somewhere and become someone, only to leave it all behind after death, you aim for the highest stage of nothingness. Live this life as light and empty as the number zero. We are no different from a pot. It is not the decorations outside, but the emptiness inside that holds us straight. Just like that, it is not what we aspire to achieve but the consciousness of nothingness that keeps us going.

I release self-pity by changing the stories I tell about my life.

It took me a long time to understand that as I relieve myself of all the expectations that my family and my culture have placed on me, I start knowing who I am. In the ‘I am’ there are no roles and it is rather freeing. I have no one to please with being ‘some way’ other than being me. Being ’empty’ in my understanding is being free to be me.

Today, we are releasing Self-pity and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that though life brings challenges and difficulties, losses and changes, we must remember that Spirit’s great gifts are always flowing for our resilience and capacity to heal. Feeling sorry for ourselves, only brings resentment, blame and hopelessness.

“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change” Wayne Dyer, Ed.D.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No33 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing self-pity  worked for you today.

Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise. James 5:13

Today we affirm: I release self-pity by changing the stories I tell about my life.

Contemplation – Day 32

Nothing should stand between you and God. No imams, priests, rabbis, or any other custodians of moral or religious leadership. Not spiritual masters and not even your faith. Believe in your values and your rules, but never lord them over others. If you keep breaking other people’s hearts, whatever religious duty you perform is no good. Stay away from all sorts of worship, for they will blur your vision. Let God and only God be your guide. Learn the Truth, my friend, but be careful not to make a fetish out of your truths.

When I resist with love, I am choosing life.

One of the reasons, I could never join a cult or any religious organization was that I could not accept any authority to tell me how to pursue the knowing of God. I grew up during the socialistic regime in Eastern Europe where Big Brother was supposed to be our guide and ‘brain’. We were to melt into a giant grey melting pot of facelessness and personality-less-ness. We were to believe in and follow every word without hesitation.

I cannot believe in anything without having personal experiences of what I am suggested. God is a living being for me – not a human! – with ‘whom’ I have a personal relationship with. Neither do I suggest that the way I experience God is THE way of experiencing It.  One should resist with Love and find one’s own way of connecting.

Today, we are releasing Resistance and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that sometimes resistance is choosing Loving. There are moments when we need to let go of whatever is not life-affirming and so resist them.

Love is the greatest from of resistance. Love is always present waiting for us to awaken and engage. By turning to love, we claim our inherent worth and dignity.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No32 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing resistance worked for you today.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. Romans 12:17

Today we affirm: When I resist with love, I am choosing life
