Contemplation – Day 28

The past is an interpretation. The future is on illusion. The World does not move through time as if it were a straight line, proceeding from the past to the future. Instead, time moves through and within us, in endless spirals. Eternity does not mean infinite time, but simply timelessness. If you want to experience eternal illumination, put the past and the future out of your mind and remain within the present moment..

I release the past quickly and gracefully to greet my greater good.

Easily said than done. However, today, I experienced ‘timelessness’. I went to see a cranio-sacral therapist. During the one-hour treatment I did not notice ‘time’. Somehow, I floated without space-and-time constraint. I simply focused into and experienced the treatment that somehow allowed me to release my thoughts on the past or my wonderings of the future. I stayed in the moment through the treatment. It was an amazing experience that I cannot describe with words …

Rule 28

Today, we are releasing the Past and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that “the past is past. There is not time but the present. Whatever happened in the past blessed us because it brought us forward to where ewe are now.”  Releasing the past opens the way for the manifestation of the greater good that awaits us.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No28 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing the past worked for you today.

Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Keep straight the path of your feet, and all your ways will be sure. Proverbs 4:25-26

Today we affirm: I release the past quickly and gracefully to greet my greater good.

Contemplation – Day 27

Whatever you speak, good or evil, will somehow come back to you. Therefore, if there is someone who harbors ill thoughts about you, saying similarly bad things about him will only make matters worse. You will be locked in a vicious circle of malevolent energy. Instead, for forty days and nights, say and think beautiful things about that person. Everything will be different at the end of 40 days because you will be different inside.

I relax and let go of feelings of overwhelm, knowing all will be well.

It is such a huge learning. In my experience judging is natural to us which makes it rather difficult. We are brought up with criticism from all angle. Our entire education system is founded on judgement and reward.  I love the idea of surrounding a person I dislike with loving thoughts. It is challenging because his behaviour is scary and vile. But I know that I can move into that place of understanding where I can truly embrace it all. So, …

I am sending loving thoughts to this man and affirm a clam and mutually beneficial outcome to every event with this person. (day1) For the highest good. So, it is.

Interestingly, with the words, I have moved into a place of neutrality…

Today, we are releasing Overwhelm and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that when we allow ourselves to become overwhelmed life can feel like a pressure cooker. “It is difficult to know what to do next.”

In such moments we are reminded to call upon Jesus. “Ask, and it will be given you” Jesus said. In the silence, we can ask for the next step. We maybe surprised at some unexpected situations bubbling up in response to our request. Start to move anyway, follow the guidance. Overwhelm will dissipate with every step we align ourselves with the Divine guidance.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No27 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing overwhelm worked for you today.

Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will and; knock, an the door will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7

Today we affirm: I relax and let go of feelings of overwhelm, knowing all will be well.

Contemplation – Day 26

The universe is one being. Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do no harm — practice compassion. And do not gossip behind anyone’s back — not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile.

Wisdom flows through me every day.

I am learning that I cannot protect people form themselves. People  sometimes make choices that are harmful for everyone include themselves.

I am learning that I cannot control others’ choices.

I am learning to let people take responsibility for themselves and for their choices.

I am learning that my MAIN JOB is to be HAPPY: to live a life that maybe have a positive impact on my life and that of others. Hoping that in our interconnectedness, my happiness and joy lifts everyone.

“One man’s joy will make everyone smile.”

Today, we are releasing Outdated Beliefs and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that old beliefs direct our lives and can hold us back from beautiful experiences. From time to time, we are encouraged to check our beliefs, evaluate them and make changes. Running on old beliefs is like being on autopilot. It is healthy to outgrow beliefs that do not serve us any more. Change is the creative flow of the universe.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No26 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing outdated beliefs worked for you today.

Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old.
I am about to do a new thing. Isaiah 43:18-19

Today we affirm: Wisdom flows through me every day.

Contemplation – Day 25

Each reader comprehends the Holy Qur’an on a different level of tandem with the depth of his understanding. There are four levels of insight. The first level is the outer meaning, and it is the one that the majority of the people are content with. Next is the Batin — the inner level. Third, there is the innermost of the internal. And the fourth level is so deep it cannot be put into words and is, therefore, bound to remain indescribable.

I am present here and now. I honor this beautiful moment of life.

Today’s Rule is about respect and acceptance for me. I spent much time trying to educate others about the way to God. Then I realized that there is no need to do that. We all read the Holy Text – whichever we chose – the way we are capable of perceiving it. And there is NOTHING WRONG with that! There is not better or worse way of understanding and experiencing God but our own unique way.

The journey into communion with God is personal. We move from one level to the next when we are ready. I also learnt to respect and accept there are as many ways to God, as many we are.

Today, we are releasing Obligation and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that we often allow our obligations to run our lives. As a result we lose ourselves in the lists of obligations and lose touch with the Flow of Life in the present moment. “Life unfolds like a beautiful flower.” As we allow ourselves to pause we become part of the unfolding.

Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No25 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing obligation worked for you today.

It is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Today we affirm: I am present here and now. I honor this beautiful moment of life.

Contemplation – Day 24

Hell is in the here and now. So is heaven. Quit worrying about hell or dreaming about heaven, as they are both presents inside this very moment. Every time we fall in Love, we ascend to heaven. Every time we hate, envy, or fight someone, we tumble straight into the fires of hell.”

I release habitual negativity and embrace infinite possibility.

My mum used to be a beautiful lady. Every time she looks into the mirror, she shivers and says “It still shocks me to see how old I have become!” Then sadly turns her face away from her reflection.

She is in hell every time she looks at herself in the mirror because she cannot accept and embrace the natural process of getting old and the body’s change with it. She looks for a beautiful woman looking back at her and she turns away disappointed.

I wish she could see the wonderful and wise woman she has become under the wrinkled skin. She could as well be in heaven!
