40 Days of Lent – From Release to Embrace
“The universe is one being. Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do no harm — practice compassion. And do not gossip behind anyone’s back — not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile.”*

Today, we are releasing Outdated Beliefs and embracing God’s Love for us.
Our Lent Booklet reminds us today that old beliefs direct our lives and can hold us back from beautiful experiences. From time to time, we are encouraged to check our beliefs, evaluate them and make changes. Running on old beliefs is like being on autopilot. It is healthy to outgrow beliefs that do not serve us any more. Change is the creative flow of the universe.
Today, I invite you to contemplate on Rule No26 and the quote below. Let me know how practicing releasing outdated beliefs worked for you today.
Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old.
I am about to do a new thing. Isaiah 43:18-19
Today we affirm: Wisdom flows through me every day.
