Mandala Class&ZOOM Fatigue

Yes, I do understand how daunting it is to sit in front of the computer all day! That has been my life for almost a year now. Before? I have never been outdoorsy much but I have been active. My life and work required me to be on my feet moving about and buzzing. It has changed dramatically. At first, I spent a lot of time in front of the screen so to learn how live and work on-line. Then the weather got so unreasonable that I did not feel like going out much anyway. I am lucky that the house, where I am staying, has a garden so I can go out and get fresh air any time of day. Still, I don’t do enough of it.

I am literally relearning to go out and just enjoy being outdoors.

What does it all have to do with the Mandala Classes?

Late Dr Judith Cornell talks about making sacred art and the benefits of that

You can actually participate on the Class while you are outdoors.

Naturally, you need a place to sit, you will also need your art supply, but just like nature painters, you can create outdoors and make you Mandala that way. You do need internet connection. However, the class is pretty much about us making art together with others so you can probably use Mobile Data for keeping in touch with the other participants.

We do not talk much during the class, plus all material is uploaded for you onto a webpage so you can follow the class even if you drop off the Zoom call with some reason. We keep in touch using different other apps like Remind and Padlet to make sure that everyone is constantly connected.

So, even if you feel tired of ‘onlining’ please do not pass on the Mandala Classes just because they are over Zoom. Consider the benefits of making art and connecting with many Art-Hearted Creatures from all over the Globe. 🙂

Come join us for one of the upcoming classes!
